Faculties facing problems

Postby notescbe2015 » Mon Jul 17, 2017 8:04 pm

Self confidence is important.
Tutor says the student feedback is poor for you sir. The students don't understand the subject and too fast is the students comment. But students don't talk in the class committee meeting.
Be aware with colleagues.

Syllabus and regulations are being approved on the basis of following arguments:
  1. Foreign universities offer similar degrees

  2. Students are not grown up to syllabus argument level

  3. Pressurize the university nominee to provide approval, mainly by department and governing council chairman.

Note: Standard of Indian Universities and Foreign Universities.
Message: Education is business.

Karpagam Institutions: staff principles

Postby notescbe2015 » Tue Jul 18, 2017 6:17 pm

Dr P Vijaykumar, Principal, Kapagam Institutions
Case study: A teaching faculty is forced to apply for funding via proposals. Due to seniority issues the faculty is tortured for about a month. Finally, the faculty comes up with a national level proposal. Immediately at the time submitting the proposal in the campus, the senior member in the campus in a meeting says we are launching a international level proposal. Karpagam institutions is interested in international proposals only.
Faculty are demotivated, insulted, ill-treated in teaching profession as well, particularly in kapagam coimbatore tamilnadu.
However, keep up the spirits. doors are always open for skilled persons.
Regards,
Shivam
